Post-work, pre-packing snack featuring Alexana 2012 Pinot Noir. Blackberry, cherry, black tea, vanilla and baking spices on the nose. Medium bodied with a silky smooth mouth feel and great length. Was ab fab with last night’s stuffed baked zucchini.

Ravine Vineyard 2011 Chardonnay VQA Liquid gold wild ferment with a lovely, smooth buttery and fresh-baked bread oakiness. Excellent example of cool climate chardonnay with a nice minerality showing. Citrus and melon accents. Crowd pleaser. Around $20, available at the winery.
